Miravoice Secure Voice & Video

ThoughtWave Technologies LLC and Miravoice LLC have developed an embedded operating system based on the incredibly powerful NetBSD kernel, and the award-winning Asterisk PBX and OpenVPN client-software package. Our Secure Voice & Video service is specifically geared towards small businesses for whom customer confidentiality is important, such as medical or law offices, but any small business can benefit from the ease of use and reliability.

When you sign up for our Secure Voice & Video service, you get a turnkey PBX system which can turn any dedicated Intel-based PC with an ethernet card into a complete PBX with almost zero configuration on your end. You simply boot the installation CD-ROM on a dedicted PC, install the software which takes only a few minutes, eject the CD and reboot.

You'll receive a dedicated block of non-routable RFC1918 IP addresses, which you'll use you configure your IP Phones. If you are comfortable with UNIX or Linux, you can even customize your installation without worrying about losing your configuration. After your phones are configured, you can receive calls from outside the secure network or call station to station anywhere within the secure network.

Available Plans

  • Metered 1000: Includes 1000 out of network minutes anywhere in the US and unlimited in-network minutes. Overage charge is $0.03 per minute. Out of network minutes are unencrypted.
  • Flat Rate: Includes unlimited in and out of network minutes anywhere in the US. Out of network minutes are unencrypted.
